We made this because we were annoyed.

Two friends. Too many restaurant visits. Zero useful information on those laminated cards restaurants call a menu. What does the dish actually look like? Is it spicy? Does it contain nuts? Nobody knows. The waiter is busy. The photo on the wall is from 2009.

So we built ScanToDine. A digital menu that tells you something useful. Photos, ingredients, allergens, spice levels, portion sizes. The full story about your food before you commit to ordering it.

Then owners asked for more, so we kept going. Today ScanToDine also runs the floor: waiters take the order, the kitchen sees it live, and managers check tables out and print the bill. Everything a POS does, without ever taking a cut of your sales.

ScanToDine comes in two plans for almost any restaurant out there. The Head Chef gives you a beautiful, unlimited digital menu your guests open with a QR scan, plus a Counter POS and sales insights - everything a counter-service spot needs. The Full House adds our Floor Management System on top, so your waiters, kitchen, bar, and managers run the entire service from one place. One plan runs your counter. The other runs your whole floor.
It is the engine that runs your dining room. Waiters take orders table by table, the kitchen sees them live, and when a dish is ready the waiter knows instantly. When guests are finished, a manager checks the table out and prints the bill. In short, we do everything a POS does, for a fraction of the cost.
Yes - both plans include one. The Head Chef comes with a Counter POS built for counter service, takeaways, and delivery. The Full House runs your entire floor on top of that. The one deliberate exception: we do not process the payment itself. We leave out card processing because we operate across many countries with very different legal rules, and because we refuse to charge you a percentage on every transaction. That, frankly, is a bit evil.
On your own machine, exactly as you do today. Use your local bank’s debit or credit terminal, or any payment processor you already trust. We print the itemised bill, your machine takes the payment. We never sit between you and your money, and we never take a cut of a single sale.
The system runs over the internet, so if your wifi drops, a mobile hotspot keeps everything running. And because we never handle payments, an outage can never block a sale - your own card machine keeps working no matter what.

Your data is yours. We do not snoop on it or use it for anything beyond running your account. If you ever close your account, we hold your data for around 30 days and then delete it from our servers for good. That window exists for one reason: if you change your mind, you can come straight back and pick up exactly where you left off.
