Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ScanToDine, provided by ScanToDine, a business based in Gujarat, India. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
The service
ScanToDine lets restaurants create a digital menu that diners open by scanning a QR code, run a Counter POS for counter-service orders, and, on the Full House plan, run a floor system for taking orders, managing the kitchen and bar, and printing bills. We provide the software; you are responsible for the content you put into it and how you run your restaurant.
Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your login secure.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by your staff using their codes.
- You must be authorised to act for the restaurant you set up.
Your content and responsibilities
- You own the menu content, photos, and details you upload, and you grant us the limited right to host and display them to run the service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of prices, allergen information, tax settings, ratings, and any claims shown on your menu. We display what you enter; we do not verify it.
- You must have the rights to any images or text you upload, and you must not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
- You are responsible for charging and remitting any taxes applicable to your business. Our tools help you display and total taxes, but the figures and compliance are yours.
Plans, billing, and payment
Paid plans are billed per restaurant, monthly or annually, through our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as merchant of record. Prices are shown on our pricing page. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. Cancellation and refunds are covered in our Refund Policy. We do not process payments ourselves and we take no commission on your sales.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the service, attempt to break its security, or access data that is not yours.
- Do not use the service to break the law or infringe others' rights.
- Do not resell or copy the service without our permission.
Availability and maintenance
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may run maintenance, during which customer menus may briefly show a maintenance page while owner dashboards stay reachable. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, fail payment, or pose a security or legal risk. You may stop using the service at any time. On closure, your data follows the retention rules in our Privacy Policy, including a 30-day recovery window.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or meet every need. We are not responsible for your restaurant's operations, the accuracy of your menu, or losses arising from how you use the service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The courts at Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction. Disputes are subject to the courts of Gujarat, India.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
